Smart Grid and State Policy

By Matthew Brown | October 18, 2009 | No Comments

Today, October 19, Matthew Brown will be presenting a webinar to a group of participants in the Midwestern United States about the Smart Grid. The group is focused on the potential for the Smart Grid to help meet environmental challenges by reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and to reduce overall energy consumption. The webinar will examine what the Smart Grid is (and isn’t), examine costs and benefits of the Smart Grid, and describe major policy issues related to the Smart Grid. The presentation will be posted on this web site shortly after the webinar. In addition, the presentation draws heavily from a brand new paper released by the Midwestern Governor’s Association and written by Matthew H. Brown that describes all of these Smart Grid-related issues in detail. This paper is available at .
